Results. What results did you achieve? Did your team improve a process that saved the company money? What results did your company achieve based on your work? Did you win an industry award for innovation? Did the company double its profit? A narrative of "I did this and that" won't cut it. Think Results.
If the posting lists some specific skills or education, be sure to tell us in your cover letter and resume that you have them! Tell us how you've used those skills. If you have the equivalent skills or education, tell us why it's the equivalent and what results you've obtained from your equivalent education.
Did we mention RESULTS?????
